any thoughts on albemarle corp by chance ? thinking of selling at a loss n investing in sm else

@sk... I ran my valuation on the stock, and this was what I got: ALB (Albemarle) ~$135–$137 — lithium / specialties chemical. Snapshot Price~$135–$137 (today) 52-week~$71 – $221 Market cap~$16B Trailing P/E - junk (~hundreds) — Forward P/E~15 P/B~2.0 P/FCF~12 Dividend~1.2% Street target~$173 avg (wide: $140 JPM → $250) Consensus - Moderate Buy / mixed Q2 beat was real: sales $1.74B (+31%), adj. EBITDA $858M. Specialties guide raised. Energy Storage volumes flat/down (CGP3 fire delay). They model lithium at ~$10 / $20 / $30 per kg and said they’re tracking nearer the $20 case. JPM just cut the target to $140 on lithium slipping into the low-$20s. Rating: Moderate Buy / Fair — commodity bet, not a quality compounder. Cheap if lithium holds ~$20/kg. Ugly if it slides back toward $10. Not a “valuation reset of a great business.” It’s a lithium-price proxy with a better specialties/balance-sheet kicker than 2024–25. Headwinds: price volatility, volume guide not growing, capex/projects, Middle East supply-chain noise they already flagged.

What ticker is it? Yeah if the ticker isn't there it's bc nobody has traded it.

But it's possible that your ticker has lobbied before to Congress so it might pop up in the lobbying data search.

Doubt so... It's Klarna $KLAR

Just looked. Yeah, no one has traded it. Could be since it's only been publicly traded for ~1 year and it's a relatively small market cap.

KLAR is a big deal in germany. Not the stock but the company. It’s everywhere

For perspective, the S&P500 is only up 11.78% YTD.

I'm wondering if the % change is calculated based on a dollar amount increase or a collective average of the % change on each stock

It's calculated with the dollar amount increase on the backend so position size will have an effect. It estimates the shares they bought and sold and runs through their trading history over a set time period (ytd, 2025, etc.) to get the percent as accurately as we can. Obviously it's just an estimation because they disclose in ranges, but we can make a few assumptions and get an idea of who is good or not to follow. There are still some kinks with the calculations that I am working out though so it could change on the live site. Hoping to get it out here soon though for y'all 🔥

I'm actually really happy about the new performance tracker. Ashley Moody is now on my radar and I will be following her moves if she trades again.

These trades were in her latest disclosure last year ^

She's up 72% YTD in her portfolio...

You can technically buy $ARCC at a lower price than her

I think the Commitees and subcommitees on her traded are wrong can you guys maybe check that?

Looks like she rarely trades. Let’s keep an eye on her. Debby doesn’t trade a lot as well and we all know how she somehow (lol) finds these golden small caps all the time

The last trade she made was a company with a big dividend pay might as well just be a cheap buy for dividend income what do you guys think?
